London has seen a shocking decline in gay clubs over the last twenty years. Those that remain are busy and lots of fun, with a variety of offerings for all tastes. This should ensure you’ll find something to keep you dancing through the night.

G-A-Y Heaven, Charing Cross.
Perhaps the most famous gay club in London. Heaven is across three floors, offering a number of gay club nights. Expect a lot of Pop and numerous Ru Paul’s Drag Race stars on stage. The nearest station is Charing Cross.

Ku Klub, Soho.
Ku Klub is the basement gay club below Ku Bar. Just head south from Old Compton Street for a couple of minutes, and at the gateway to China Town, you’ll find the gorgeous Ku. Klub was recently closed for a big refurbishment, and they’ve made it look fabulous!
One of London’s most popular gay cruise clubs. Offering a range of nights from easy cruising to totally naked. See advert for each night. More info at Vault 139. Open every day 1 pm – 1 am.
North London’s leading gay club. Located in Camden, Club Z is below the Zodiac bar, and it has its own separate entrance. The venue hosts queer clubbing nights for everyone in our LGBTQIA community. You’ll get a warm welcome and have lots of fun at Zodiac. Come as you are, and just be nice! The bar also hosts various cabaret events throughout the week. Orange Nation hosts a range of gay clubbing nights that attract the circuit party crowd. The Fire nightclub attracts a lot of semi-clad men to their branded gay club nights. Orange Nation also promotes large circuit party events at other venues across London. Expect muscles, harnesses and lots of fit men. You can see what’s on my visiting their ticketing page here.
Eagle is a popular gay nightclub in Vauxhall. On Sunday’s they host the very popular Horse Meat Disco. Duckie also presents their Electric Tea Dance on a Saturday afternoon at The Eagle.
No trip to Clapham can go without a visit to the two brewers. With cabaret in the front bar, and shows often in the back bar, the place converts to a club for dancing once the curtain comes down on the show.
This is a thriving multi-functional queer space that uplifts the LGBTQI+ community that it supports. It serves as a queer club, cafe, gallery and all round community safe space. Fabulously fun drag brunches at the weekend.
Open every day of the week and over two floors. The Glory hosts a bewildering array of queer nights. Off-the-wall cabaret shows and party nights make this one of the wildest places to visit.
