The midpoint between Eurovision each year occurs in November, and this year, there will be a Eurovision Equinox Charity Quiz Night at The Two Brewers in Clapham on 8 November.
With questions like, “Which is the only act to win Eurovision, whose name is a palindrome?”. OK, the question actually was, “Which is the only act to win Eurovision whose name is spelt the same forwards & backwards?” But at QX, we’re little miss-no-alls, so we thought we’d make the question harder! Here’s another one. “Which UK Eurovision act performed in a dress that was designed originally for Cher?”. Visit the Eurovision Equinox Charity Quiz ticket site to find the answer.
Eurovision Quiz and Prizes from 8 pm – 10 pm followed by Eurovision DJs James Rawson and Alice Beverton-Palmer will be spinning until 2 am.
Their first-ever Eurovision Equinox Quiz night is for charity, and all proceeds go to The Albert Kennedy Trust. Akt supports lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
If you can’t make it to the quiz, you can still help keep LGBTQ+ young people safe and supported with a one-off gift or regular donation to akt:
