19/05/12: Saturday night, and after a week of being hopelessly nun-like (I even watched an episode of EastEnders for Christsakes! Slit the wrists!) my man-minge was pointing towards Soho and positively twitching at the thought of getting back on the town.

Seeing as the weather is starting to warm up to something that can, at best, be described as ‘tepid’, the gurls and I headed to our favourite outdoor space – The Yard! Ok, so the barely there tit slings we were wearing may have been a little too hopeful, but the action inside was scorching hot…

… sorry, we got distracted there for a moment. Something’s happened. There are the most amazing looking men writhing on top of the bar upstairs in The Loft. They’ve seemingly popped up out of nowhere, like randy, muscled Punch and Judy puppets in teeny tiny lime green pants!

This is brilliant! Here we were chattin’ shit to a fabulous, let us repeat fabulous, soundtrack of house sounds that veer from funky to vocal to slightly harder and back again, and suddenly – face full of underwear bulge. We’re nicotine addicts and we didn’t go outside for two hours!

It seems that wasn’t the only little Saturday surprise, as The Yard looks AMAZEWAH right now. The décor is on point – a real jaw-dropper from the moment you walk in to the heaving courtyard. We like a bar that uses lighting to full effect, and when you party as much as we do, you really relish good lighting!

Not wanting to end the party at last orders, we snapped up free entry to The Edge (Available every Friday and Saturday) and partied ‘til the early hours. A top crowd, a great bar and a gogo-boy induced semi. Perfect!

PS: On a date, meeting mates or having a party? You can reserve a table or hire the Loft Bar exclusively. They’ll even provide canapés! For further information, email adolpho@yardsoho.com.
