Booty Call Ball

Oct 23 @ 8:00 pm – 2:30 am
£10
Booty Call Ball at Clapham Grand in South London.

Booty Call CIC is hosting a massive night at the Clapham Grand to raise awareness of bowel cancer within LGBTQIA+ spaces through drag, disco, and plenty of camp.

The event features an exciting lineup, including the Cheeky Girls, Supersister, and Booty Luv, along with special guests Diane and Linda from Traitors. It will be hosted by Gareth Howells and airline legend Jane Boulton. RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Just May and Kiki Snatch will also perform, joined by a fantastic array of DJs, including JADE tour opener Adam Theo, keeping the party going until the early hours.

The full DJ lineup features icons from London and Brighton, including UOKHUN, What’s Your Pleasure, and WAYNE DAVID from 80:20, as well as PAUL JOSEPH from Athena and 80:20, NEIL PRINCE from By Request and R&She’s, MARIO KYRIACOU from Cheer Up Pop Parties, HELLY HEART from Silly B*tch Disco, and a diverse queer lineup curated entirely by Booty Call founder DJ Dallyn.

Booty Call CIC has previously raised cancer awareness at Pride events and even created “Colon-oke,” a karaoke experience inside a giant inflatable colon. Thanks to insights from Macmillan Cancer Support and Bristol Myers Squibb, many GP appointments have been booked following the conversations sparked by these initiatives. Research indicates that LGBTQ+ individuals often face additional barriers to cancer prevention, screening, and treatment, including discrimination, the lack of inclusive services, and subpar healthcare experiences.

Every ticket sold helps Booty Call CIC continue its mission of bringing cancer awareness into LGBTQ+ spaces in a loud, proud, unapologetic, and impossible-to-ignore manner.

Dan Edwards, Chair and Founder of Booty Call CIC, told QX:
“As a gay man, I have realized how often LGBTQ folks fall through the cracks regarding cancer awareness. We are less likely to get screened, more likely to delay seeing a doctor, and rarely see our community represented in health campaigns. That’s why I’m determined to speak openly. As a gay man and DJ, I know that the best way to achieve anything is to bring the community together for one massive party.”

This event is a mix of The Royal Variety Performance and a Pride afterparty, with notably more fun! Expect huge pop throwbacks, live performances, drag, dancing, special moments, and a dancefloor that won’t stop until the lights come on.

Booty Call was born from a simple idea: if we can make conversations about cancer feel less awkward, we might encourage more people to get checked before it’s too late. Join us for one spectacular celebration of pop, drag, queer joy, and partying with purpose.
