This is David Ian’s work-in-progress show, (Just a) Perfect Gay. It’s a show about learning to belong when you don’t fit in. David works through the idea of being the perfect gay. He’s been striving to achieve this unsuccessfully for as long as he can remember. Obviously, there are lots of funny stories and heartwarming lessons, along with some dick jokes. This is a work-in-progress show, so expect to see notes and some bits that might not work alongside some inspiration that arrives live on stage as David works the show, hopefully into something amazing.
