On Saturday 19th March, super sexy Berlin queer party kids YO SISSY, are taking their sequin-spattered debauchery to (where else) THE GLORY!

Yes! The occasionally dignified Haggerston Riviera certainly won’t be so salubrious, with a gorgeous mess of drag queens, raucous recording artists and, of course, more gays than you can shake a glow stick at.

Yo! Sissy are a yearly international festival, and they’re bring their aesthetic to The Glory for one night only, with a combination of overseas acts and the cream of the creative crop from our own mad old metropolis.

Gorgeous JD Samson is jetting over from NYC for a headline spot. She’s one third of critically-acclaimed feminist punk trio Le Tigre, who are way cooler than you. We’ve totes got a crush on her.

“The Glory is the perfect reflection of Berlin’s artistic, free-living communities, and its glittering stage curtains and anarchic dance pit will provide the perfect backdrop for Yo! Sissy.”

As well as her, there’s Berlin’s Laura Glock (good name, very timely), London’s sexy scrappy rap scallion QBoy, and bass mogul Ziur, fresh from touring with Peaches.

Other representatives from the UK (ooh we’ve gone all Eurovision), include alternative drag collective The Family Fierce and of the course the scintillating, synched, stalking Jonny Woo.

It all goes together very well, we have to say. The Glory is the perfect reflection of Berlin’s artistic, free-living communities, and its glittering stage curtains and anarchic dance pit will provide the perfect backdrop for Yo! Sissy.

The main festival, now in its second year, will take place in Berlin on July 30th – 31st. Head to Yo! Sissy’s Facebook page for more info.
