Dig out your jockstraps, Matinee’s doing a sports special!
It’s Bank Holiday Weekend, and we all know what THAT means – a fuck-off huge party, at a great big ex-theatre venue, featuring lots of men with their tops off and lots of music that goes “UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ!”
It can only be Matinée, the gargantuan brainchild of nightlife lotharios Orange Nation. Orange Nation are responsible for some of your fave after-hours club nights like Beyond and A:M. Basically, they specialize in making gay men have fun after midnight. A noble goal indeed.
Speaking of goal’s, this year’s Matinée is sports themed. We’re not really sure why. Perhaps because it facilitates the wearing of knee-high socks and sexy garments hewn from shiny nylon. So get those foam fingers out and get your head in the game!
As well as that, they’ve got superstar DJ Taito Tikaro jetting over from Spain with his electrifying brand of dance/electronic tunes. Plus Matinee faves Fabio Luigi and Arnaldo Novais.
