QX PREVIEW: Pride at the h club

One of London’s hottest private members’ clubs is throwing a huge Pride party

The h Club (formerly the Hospital Club) is one of London’s best kept secrets! Well, it’s not. It’s notorious amongst those IN THE KNOW.

Tucked away among the leafy restaurant-lined al fresco friendly streets of Covent Garden, it’s an oasis of calm in Central London’s bustling dusty mayhem.

It’s a sprawling members club, with floor upon floor of gorgeous plush rooms full of suede sofa and lascivious lighting.

Sometimes they open to the public for special occasions and Pride is of course one of those occasions!

In honour of what’s shaping up to be London’s biggest Pride ever, the h Club are throwing a series of special bashes in association with Absolut Vodka (obvs).

On throughout Pride Week (Thursday 27th June – Saturday 6th June) the events will combine entertainment, panel discussions, comedy, performances and general fabulousness. It basically intends to embody a mix of partying and education; which is what pride should be about.

Highlights include a panel discussion with Matthew Todd, Brian Paddick and more, a comedy night featuring Shappi Khorsandi & David Mills and VIP official Pride afterparty to wrap things up.

“We are proud to consider ourselves an ally of the LGBTQ community,” said h Club’s Michael Berg. “Pride reflects the diversity of our membership and our members programme.  I believe our club contributes in providing an environment to inspire the next generation of LGBTQ creatives.”
