Exclusive London Fetish Party Opens For One Night Only

Fetish

Klub Verboten, one of the biggest names to emerge in recent years on the fetish scene, opens its doors to non-members for its 3rd Birthday.

Over the past three years, Klub Verboten have made a name for themselves, throwing some of the best fetish parties London has seen. They made a name for themselves by bringing over that contemporary Berlin sex-positive club feeling to London. Going against the tide of men-only nights and heterosexual, couple-based parties, Klub Verboten have embraced how diverse and fluid sexuality can be, creating a queer-friendly space where club-goers aren’t siphoned off into categories.

The vetting of their members is rigorous, asking potential party-goers to fill out an extensive form, asking them about their understanding of consent, and linking through their social media. Following the submission, the application is then reviewed and, if you’re very lucky, accepted.

Verboten, German for “forbidden”, is a space where people can go and let loose in a safe environment. A prominent feature of their evenings, as is the case with many a Berlin fetish club, is the music. Heavy techno beats echo through cavernous industrial spaces to transport you to the bowels of your darkest desires. Many of their first-time attendees find the space to be liberating and titillating in equal measure.

To celebrate their third year on the scene, Klub Verboten are making the rare move to allow non-members to join the party. They’ll be taking over a 900-capacity Central London venue on the 20th of September, and opening the doors for folks to come immerse themselves in the world of Verboten. While members will be given special treatment, anyone can buy a ticket to have a delicate taste of the world of Verboten.

The fetish club night has gained a devoted following, with many praising it’s hard-edged aesthetic and killer sounds. On the night they’ll be flying in Berlin-based producer, DJ Inland who’s renowned worldwide for his mastery behind the deck.

Once you’re inside, the venue is split into four rooms to explore. Strip down and get lost in a labyrinth of sexual desires, or try your hand with a partner in the Gegenstand Playroom. Or if a fumble in the darkroom is more your thing, then go ahead. Since this is a fetish club, the look is of critical importance. Think latex, rubber, PVC, leather, metal, nylon, lace, pup hoods, studs, chains and bare flesh.

3 Years of Klub Verboten is on Friday, 20th September. Find out more at KlubVerboten.com.
