Tulleys Shocktober Fest is the terrifyingly tantalising experience touching down at a farm in Sussex
Do you like a good SCARE? We certainly do – that’s why we go to Myra DuBois’ shows (JK Myra, we love you).
Halloween seems to get more and more popular every year, and there’s so much STUFF to do that it’s sometimes hard to find something different. You know when you’re looking at everything and there’s too much to process and you just think ‘screw it’ and stay in and watch Hocus Pocus for the 50000th time.
Well DON’T do that. Hop on a train and head to Tulleys Shocktober Fest! It’s an immersive Halloween experience on a farm in Sussex (yes, really) with ten equally blood-curdling attractions that’ll make you squeal like A TERRIFIED PIG. Or like Armond Rizzo. Or like Laura Dern in Jurassic Park, that was a great scream. But it’s nothing compared to how you’ll scream at Tulleys! AAARRGGH!!
The attractions each use a combination of state-of-the-art special effects, actors and visual trickery to transport you to your NIGHTMARES. Among them are a pirate’s wreck, a haunted cottage, a circus of horrors, a “hay ride” which involves sitting on a truck being driven through a haunted wood and an attraction called “Twisted Clowns 3D” which we will DEFINITELY be avoiding.
As well as all this there’s loads of great food and drink, award-winning street theatre, exhilarating fairground rides and more. So cancel that download on Hocus Pocus, and get into it!
Tulleys Shocktober Fest is at Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill Road, Turners Hill, Crawley. Nearest station Three Bridges (30 minutes from London Bridge).
Selected dates until 3rd November. Opens 6pm with attractions from 6:30pm. Adult tickets priced from £12. For more information head to shocktoberfest.co.uk.
