Who said Panto’s a Christmas thing? Well, everyone but that doesn’t mean it has to be! Ladies and gentlegays, we present to you the Halloween panto! Taking over The Pleasance this month is He’s Behind You: The Slasher Panto, a wicked comedy panto that combines family fun and the camp thrills of throwback slasher flicks.
Brought to you by the team behind London’s campest horror events, from Horror Prom and Camp Friday 13th to The Brexit Chainsaw Massacre. They’ve been busying their claws putting together a show that sure to split your sides and tingle your spine.
Sit back and screech at this evening of fairy-tales turned scary-tales. A princess’ slumber party at a haunted castle, a masked killer with a grudge is about to ruin their revelry. With the kill count on the rise, they have no choice but to summon the Kill Bill of pantos Damey Lee Curtis to defeat their tormentor.
Starring Oedipussi as Buttons, Vda Loca as Snow White, Poppycock as Cinderella, Carrot as Damey Lee Curtis and Mynxie as Sleeping Beauty. Keep a firm grasp of that popcorn because this Slasher Panto is sure to send your kernels flying. Disaster, daggers and pantomime dames.
