This Christmas, the LGMC singers are bringing the holiday spirit with a musical journey to ‘Finding Home’.

It’s what the holidays are all about: getting together somewhere where you feel safe, surrounded by the people that you love and getting well and truly merry. In other words, Christmas is all about Finding Home. This winter, the clarion voices of the London Gay Men’s Chorus are here to take you on that journey to find it.

Exploring this idea of ‘home’ through music, this brand new show commissioned by the LGMC is set to marry personal testimony, story-telling and the power of song. Throughout music history, countless artists have tried their hand at capturing this sense of home, from Joni Mitchel to Janet Jackson. Whether it’s the search for a home, returning to a home or leaving a home never to return, many musicians have shared their own experiences through their music.

London Gay Men’s Chorus is a queer institution, with almost three decades of history. Since casually forming back in Angel Underground Station in 1991, it has since grown to over 200 members becoming Europe’s largest gay choir, playing to sold-out crowds in some of London’s most iconic venues. They’ve also worked with some of the music industry’s biggest names, from Mark Ronson to Elton John, to country music legend Dolly Parton.

The choir will be taking over the historic Cadogan Hall in glorious West London on Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th of November for two evenings of life-affirming performances. Bringing together several different musical styles, Finding Home promises to be a moving, uplifting and thoroughly entertaining show that is sure to start the festive season off right.

London Gay Men’s Chorus (LGMC) presents Finding Home on the 29th and 30th of November at Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square SW1X 9DQ. CLICK HERE to grab your tickets.
