A Summer sunset serenade not to miss, Le Gateau Chocolat makes his Open Air Theatre debut with his most delicious Raw Cacao on Sunday 14 August.

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre celebrate their 90th anniversary season this year, and have made special invitation for Le Gateau Chocolat to bring one of his newest, darkest, and most delicious treats to their iconic outdoor stage.

Raw Cacao is an exploration of intimacy; an invitation into the most hallowed of spaces – the chamber where one transitions from performer to person, asking “who are we when no one is watching?”

The opera-occasional, black bearded, drag diva – Le Gateau Chocolat will perform a specially curated song-cycle of the works that have shaped him to reveal a portrait of the undressed artist as man, shaped by experience, made by art; intimate, inspired, human, exposed.

Lurching wildly from one end of the musical spectrum to the other, from pop to opera via folk song, musical theatre, disco and more, this is a mixtape of who Gateau was, who Gateau is, and who Gateau hopes to become.

Sunday, 14 August 2022. Gates: 7pm, Show: 8.30pm

Tickets: £25, £20 & £15 at openairtheatre.com/production/le-gateau-chocolat
