There are many reasons why Bette Midler is a gay icon. She started her career in the bathhouses of New York, and she is happy to acknowledge that to this day. And she has been a vocal supporter of our community. Those are but two.

Sue Kelvin stars in a tribute show to the icon that is Bette Midler, covering her extraordinary life and brilliant songs from the perspective of a lifelong fan.

Songs in the show include Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, The Rose, From a Distance, I’m a Woman, Chapel of Love, Wind Beneath My Wings, and The Glory Of Love.

“West End star Sue Kelvin lights up the stage with her fabulous performance” – Theatre and Arts Reviews.

There are highlights from Midler comedy routines and an explanation of how Bette inspired Sue to become a West End diva, starring in ‘Oliver,’ ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof and ‘Wicked’, and also a puppet show version of ‘Beaches’.

Tickets £15 (and £12 Concessions).
