In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month 2023, ParaPride will be staging their long-awaited in-person event! Indeed, the first event since 2020 (pre-lockdown) at Hackney Town Hall.
ParaPride will mark LGBTQ+ history by presenting the largest showcase of disabled LGBTQ+ talent with a spectacular line-up of creative acts. Expect comedy royalties, Drag Kings & Queens, aerial artists, pole performers, poetry, comedy, DJ sets and more.
There will be a Community Networking area for everyone to connect, engage, share information, learn and have fun; there will also be an interactive panel discussion with special guest speakers focusing on Disability/LGBTQ+ Inclusion.
ParaPride is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible and enjoyable event in a safe environment for our intersectional disabled / LGBTQ+ community and our friends and allies. We look forward to sharing this memorable experience with you.
Although LGBTQ+ History should be remembered, marked and celebrated all year round, February is a time that opens up windows of great opportunities to learn, educate, raise awareness and give visibility to the more marginalised and intersectional LGBTQ+ communities. In this beautiful spirit of inclusion, everyone is welcome to ParaPride 2023: Making LGBTQ+ History.
