Aircraft Circus: Sizzling Hot Circus

Kicking off the festivities on Saturday, 30 May, is Aircraft Circus: Sizzling Hot Circus, a thrilling cabaret experience for adults directed by Lucy Francis. The show features a sensational cast of aerialists, dancers, and circus performers, blending high-skill acrobatics with playful and seductive performances, ranging from silks and hoops to the rare quad trapeze. Bold, daring, and unapologetically entertaining, it sets the tone for a Pride season that celebrates spectacle, individuality, and creative freedom.

On Saturday, 6 June, Woolwich Works will host a special screening to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Beautiful Thing, the beloved British coming-of-age film based on Jonathan Harvey’s play. Set and filmed in nearby Thamesmead, the film has a strong local connection and is widely regarded as one of the most important and heartfelt LGBTQ+ stories in British cinema.

Divas-Themed Karaoke

Come together for a special Divas-themed karaoke night at the Visitors’ Book Café on Friday, 12 June. This event celebrates iconic LGBTQ+ anthems and pop legends, inviting everyone to step up to the mic in a fun and relaxed atmosphere (ages 18 and up).

The centrepiece of the program is Queer Euphoria, taking place on Friday, 19 June, and curated and performed by the renowned circus artist Zaki Musa. This vibrant and energetic showcase features a diverse group of queer creative talent, providing an evening of immersive cabaret and circus performances that challenge traditional norms and celebrate unapologetic self-expression. Attendees can expect a dynamic blend of aerial artistry, theatrical storytelling, and innovative acts, all infused with passion, energy, and pride.

Her work, which explores themes of identity, community, and everyday life, is infused with humour and insight, resonating strongly with LGBTQ+ audiences across the UK and beyond.

Proud Together

On 27 June, LGBTQ+ Greenwich will host Proud Together, a vibrant and cheeky celebration for the whole family. The event will be led by the UK’s only Hungarian drag queen, Candy Heals.
