The RED RUN is Positive East’s most important fundraiser, allowing them to raise the funds needed to sustain their work. Positive East’s vital work ranges from free counselling and peer support to HIV/STI testing and community outreach.

In the spirit of HIV community activism, the RED RUN is a movement more than it is a race. RED RUN is an inclusive event that welcomes all ages and abilities, and fosters a spirit of community over competition.

This is your chance to join thousands of other people and make a difference to support the lives of people living with HIV.  World AIDS Day RED RUN has raised over £1.1 million for HIV support and prevention projects across the UK. There are several other charities that you can support, besides Positive East. We love them all!

QRC friendly run outs

Positive East is teaming up with Queer Running Club to bring you friendly run outs in the lead up to World AIDS Day RED RUN. The next ones are on 7 October and 4 November.

Book on the Bend Movement app for these 5km friendly run outs or email hugh.wyld@positiveeast.org.uk for more info. All abilities are welcome –  no one will be left behind.

Starting and ending at Positive East HQ in Stepney Green, you will need time to warm up and cool down, so allow an hour. These runs are a great way to run with your favourite queers and make new friends.

When and where is RED RUN?

23 November 2024 – from 11 am at Victoria Park, London E9 5EG, United Kingdom.
