Boston Globe

Changing The Game is a journey that explores themes of family, sports, love, and life through the unique experiences of three transgender high school athletes. Sarah is a skier and a teen policymaker, Andraya is a track star whose story attracted significant media attention, and Mack Beggs made headlines when he became the Texas State Champion in wrestling. While some hailed Mack as a hero, he also faced hate and threats from others.

The three athletes are at different stages of their athletic seasons, personal lives, and unique paths as transgender teens. Each competitor inspires in their field, challenging the boundaries and perceptions of fairness.

Sarah, Andraya, and Mack are teenagers who play the sports they love. However, they receive hate and threats both in person and online. Despite these challenges, their authenticity remains undeniable.

Where can I watch Changing The Game?

Changing The Game will be available for viewing on all UK streaming platforms from 20 November 2024, on Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is observed annually on November 20 to honour the memory of transgender individuals whose lives were lost due to anti-transgender violence. This release date is a deliberate effort to encourage viewers to engage with the film and the issues it raises on this important day.
