Following a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, Rosa Garland brings Primal Bog to Soho Theatre Upstairs from Wednesday 25th February – Saturday 7th March 2026.

A joyful, filthy and fearless dive into erotic desire in its stickiest and most liberating forms,Primal Bog is a clown/live art mash-up exploring sexuality, shame and self-acceptance – packed with wit, physicality and chaos. Beneath the mess lies a deeply personal and hilarious reflection on queer intimacy and pleasure beyond the male gaze.

Rosa has been recognised for her innovative, genre-blurring work, winning The Skinny-Fest “Besties” Award and earning a nomination for the VAULT Festival Innovation Award 2023. Her Edinburgh Fringe run was hailed as “a masterclass in comedy” (Metro ★★★★★), “filthy and fearless” (The Telegraph ★★★★) and “sublimely grotesque” (Chortle ★★★★).

Rosa’s previous shows (Trash SaladThe Kink Shame Show) earned critical acclaim and sold-out runs at Soho Theatre, VAULT Festival and the Fringe. She’s also a founding member of Poltergeist Theatre and recently appeared in the BAFTA-nominated short film “Quiet Life” for BBC iPlayer.
