One night in an almost empty high-rise in modern-day London, Adam (played by Andrew Scott) experiences a serendipitous meeting with his enigmatic neighbour, Harry (played by Paul Mescal). This encounter disrupts the monotony of Adam’s daily routine. As their relationship deepens, Adam remains preoccupied by memories from his past. He feels compelled to revisit the suburban town where he was raised and his childhood home, where his parents (portrayed by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) seem to be residing, frozen in time and as they were on the day they passed away three decades earlier.
