The semi-finals are on the 21 and 22 May at The Seven Dials Club and The Two Brewers respectively. These are the extra special nights in the competition as it’s the final chance for the contestants to go through to the finals at The Clapham Grand on 10 June.

Semi-finals 1 on Wednesday 21 May, 7:30pm – 9:45pm, at The Seven Dials Club.
Hosted by the amazing MC Kuan-Wen Huang and with the incredible Maple Zuo headlining (finalist 2024).
- Katie Sheinman: Queer mum, fake northerner and competitive breastfeeder

7 finalists will take to the stage at Clapham Grand for LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2025! Celebrities Tia Kofi, Zoe Lyons, Jessica Fostekew and James Barr will be the judges as the finalists battle it out to win LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2025. Plus you, the audience, will get to vote! A night of fierce talent and big laughs along with a lot of community pride!
This is the competitions biggest year yet. Comedy Bloomers has showcased some of the UK’s most exciting queer talent.
Headlined by 2024 winner Marty Gleeson with Matthew Ali, MC, the final features the best talent from across the UK LGBTQ+ comedy scene.
