Cancer is a Drag is presenting a Macmillan ‘Coffee Cocktail Cabaret’ Evening, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, at the fabulous Two Brewers on 6th October 2021.
Nobody at The Two Brewers gets up early enough for a coffee morning (obvs) so they came up with the idea of a Coffee Cocktail Cabaret in order to raise much needed funds for the vital support work that Macmillan does.
The pandemic has had a catastrophic impact on their finances and consequently the services that they can offer. For example, did you know that 44% of people diagnosed with cancer in the last two years have been recognised as lacking in appropriate support? This has lead to at least one potentially serious implication for their health.
These are services that most of us unfortunately will need to make use of, either for our loved ones or for ourselves.
Performing on the night will be Danny Beard, Son Of A Tutu, Cynthia Seaward, Ruby Violet, Claudia Prini, Letta Meatcake, and Avaline A’Love.
There’ll be a fabulous raffle with fabulous prices, and fabulous coffee cocktails.
