The Old Ship is to open on the 6th July. This is traditional-style pub with an excellent range of beers, real ales and wines, with a big-screen TV, and beer garden. They used to host regular charity events before Covid for St Joseph’s Hospice and The Albert Kennedy Trust. So they’re clearly a bunch of bloody lovely people who love to help the community as much as they like a drink and a shant. Pop down to the Old Ship for a tipple, you might even bump in to Sir Ian McKellen Ships ahoy mateys!
