Ponyboy comes to the heart of Soho for a fabulous midweek dance, launching at the Orange Yard. This 300 capacity venue is fast becoming one of Soho´s premier night spots.
QX caught up with Samantha from Ponyboy, and they explained the concept behind the new night. ¨It´s camp, uplifting and with good vibes,¨ Sam tells us, ¨The music will be uplifting – House, Disco and Sexy Underground vibes. Expect sexy boys, girls, queens and ponys, all together in a room ready to have a good time.¨
For the first night Ponyboy have booked a fabulous roster of DJs: Raven Mandela, Lewis G Burton, Massimo Paramour and Lamette.
Raven Mandela has had a major feature in QX! Dubbed Disco’s Best-Loved Dancer in MIXMAG magazine. Raven is the Original Brand Ambassador and lead performer of Glitterbox Ibiza. They are a DJ, professional dancer & club host who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry!
Also on the DJ roster for the night we have the incredible Lewis G Burton. QX has described Lewis G Burton as,
¨A concept. A destination. He’s sort of like what would happen if Ursula from The Little Mermaid had an illegitimate child with Leigh Bowery.¨
Also on the decks, international DJ sensation and musician – Massimo Paramour (Jesus died for his sins) who will be contributing to those sexy vibes. QX has danced to him at Trough, Hoist, Beef Mince, XXL and Sex Circus. He knows how to give the pulsating crowd exactly what they’re gagging for!
There will also be some gorgeous Ponyboy hosts on the night, including Riccardo Palmerano, Mocha and Anairin. They’ll be bringing the looks and the fabulous people to the event, keeping the vibes sexy!
QX thinks this is one great combination for a fun midweek night out. If you get there early, between 9pm and 10pm, entry is FREE. Ponyboy tell us to expect loads of mischief as the dancing goes on until 3am. So all you queer kids out on a school night, be prepared for a fun late night out and don’t forget to leave a note in your sock for the taxi home, or not!
