30/11/19: It was a special Red Run at the end of last month as hundreds turned out in the Winter chill to show their support for those living with HIV. The yearly event celebrated a decade of activism this year – they’ve raised over £500,000 in that time for HIV charities, a huge achievement for something that started as a grass-roots movement. This year was bigger than ever, with more than 2500 people attending, raising £141,000 for 35 HIV charities. Opening the event, Ian McKellan said “In the days when politics seems to divide us we stand here united to support our friends living with HIV and AIDS”.
