Right, first and foremost, Ian McKellen drinks at the Old Ship! Now that’s out of the way, we can concentrate on the Old Ship’s other features and try and avoid a bunch of ¨all aboard the Old Ship¨- type puns. The Old Ship is an independently run pub by the lovely John Fell. They’ve got a bevvy of live cabaret & DJs every Saturday and Sunday. They also host regular charity events, so they’re clearly a bunch of bloody lovely people who love to help the community as much as they like a drink and a shant. Pop down to the Old Ship for a tipple but if you see Magneto sitting at the bar… Well, because we’re not here to tell you how to live, do whatever you feel like doing.
