AIDSArk are holding an event to help raise vital funds.

HIV/AIDS charity AIDSArk are holding an event to help raise funds to provide vital HIV drugs to patients in the developing world.

The Dinner for One evening is on Saturday 1st April. They are asking people to host a dinner party and in turn, encourage invited guests to make a donation towards AIDSArk’s work. The aim is to raise at least £300, as that’s the price for providing treatment to someone for a year.

As a further incentive to get involved, AIDSArk are also holding an afterparty on the same night for everyone who takes part in Dinner for One. This will be held at Playboy Club, in Chelsea, and will include a performance from The D.E Experience, as well as DJ sets from Simon Le Vans and Rob Sykes, roulette tables, and a silent auction. The after-party is free for those who have hosted or gone to a dinner, or can also be bought separately. All profits raised on the night will go to helping supply anti-retroviral medication to those who need them.

• The Dinner For One event is now in it’s 5th year and has raised over £120,000 for the charity. If you would like to organise a dinner or find out more about their work, please visit aidsark.org.
