A new drag karaoke bar just opened in Dalston!

Karaoke

HRRRRRNK! New LGBTQ venue klaxon! Whoever said London’s gay scene was dead?! You can’t swing a Byron Burger tote bag without hitting a new queer watering hole!

They’re popping up all over the shop at the moment – Circa: The Club opens next weekend, and last week we were treated to sequin-spattered madness when The Karaoke Hole threw open doors with a sequinned flourish on Saturday.

As you may have guessed from the name, it’s a karaoke bar! Hooray! But it’s not like those naff karaoke bars you see in central, oh no. It’s a BEJEWELLED, BAROQUE, BUMPTIOUS karaoke bar. It’s a drag karaoke bar! Which doesn’t mean you have to be in drag to do karaoke there, but it is of course welcomed and encouraged.

It’s open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm, with dancing and debauchery until 3 in the morning! It’s brought to you by the people behind super trendy East London queer destination Dalston Superstore! Hooray! Ever wanted to wail your way through Mariah Carey’s ‘Obsessed’ while drag queen’s gyrate around you? NOW’S YOUR CHANCE. For more info and bookings, follow them on Twitter @TheKaraokeHole or head to thekaraokehole.com
