Spanish siren Soraya is heading to the Spanish-British gay club night this Saturday
Clacking their cha-cha heels up the cobbles streets of Archway, queer Spanish sensation Lady Olé is bringing Disco Drama to Kolis Nightclub. On the 12th of October expect the bricks of the arch to be trembling from the sound of ‘80s disco hits. Expect a hot and busy dancefloor, an ear-full of pounding tunes and a Eurovision finalist. What more could you WANT from a club night?!
Disco diva and scintillating singer Soraya Arnelas is serving a sickening live performance, her first here in London. She’s been a model, flaunting those high cheekbones. She’s been an actress, serving on that Latin passion. She’s most known for her impressive pipes and catchy hits that secured her a spot for Spain back in Eurovision 2009. Ten years on, she’s still serving glitzy high-octane fabulosity. He Eurovision hit ‘La noche es para mi’ (translated ‘The night is for me’) and you best BELIEVE that this is going to be her noche. If club night Lady Olé were an actual lady, she’d be Soraya.
Taking inspiration from Soraya’s album of ‘80s covers, the club is going to be booming with throwbacks to the golden decade. You know Olé is all about the costumes, so get sourcing your throwback legwarmers and neon hair scrunchies. Tingling in your ears will be some vintage house, la madrileña, new wave, Italo disco, synthesisers and references upon references. Be sure to get dressed for the occasion. Stack those shoulders higher than the Shard.
