The Queer Archive Festival Athens, 12 to 22 May 2022

The great celebration of the rich and lively queer culture returns for the third consecutive year in the center of Athens, from 12 to 22 May 2022, with the support of the Onassis Stegi.

Having won the Athenian public with great success over the past two years,
in its third edition The Queer Archive Festival grows and develops in ten days.
Ten days full of an interesting, original, playful and daring program of multimedia experiences, which brings together all the artistic trends and expressions of today’s queer culture.

A festival open and accessible to all, faithful to the emergence of new talents,
but also to the support of established, domestic or non-domestic artists.

The aim of The Queer Archive Festival is to promote the ever-evolving queer art scene,
which reflects contemporary queer culture, praises diversity and promotes inclusivity.
The festival is supported for the third consecutive year by Onassis Stegi, which believes in a culture as a meeting place for human rights and freedom of expression and speaks through its action for the self-evident rights of the LGBTQI + community.

Exhibitions, performances, discussions, gastronomy, karaoke, workshops, drag shows,
parties and much more will be held in parallel for ten days in various areas of the Athenian center, focusing on Omonoia square.
