The QPOCPROJECT are hosting the showcase. They are a not-for-profit organisation, founded by Maya Joseph, and is made of and for queer people of colour in the UK. The organisation was formed as a response to the lack of QPOC-centered space in LGBTQ+ organisations in the UK and to create an inclusive space for all QPOC to discuss how to navigate the cultural, political and social journey people go through as queer people of colour. The QPOCPROJECT hosts social and professional events such as book clubs, craft lessons, coffee mornings, discussion groups, nights out, workshops, peer support groups and more.
