Celebrate LGBT+ History Month with Phaidon at BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café, the new cultural hub in London’s Fitzrovia that promotes queer and gay fine art photography.

Phaidon will be taking over the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café from February 11 to 16. The event will showcase their collection of queer books, featuring works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Paul Cadmus, Jim Hodges, Anthony Cudahy, Cerith Wyn Evans, Catherine Opie, and many more.

Wednesday, 12 February: Meet Michele Robecchi, the Arts Editor of Phaidon, who will be the guest for BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! MEETS, providing insight into the publishing world and Phaidon’s queer artists.

BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! MEETS every Wednesday 7 pm – 8 pm

5 February: Meet William Baker, a fashion designer, stylist, theatre director, and photographer, who is best known for his previous work as the Creative Director for Kylie Minogue.

19 February: Meet Stuart Linden Rhodes, a roving reporter for APN and Gay Times during the early to mid-1990s. He captured the vibrant LGBTQ+ club, pub, and Pride scene across the UK, from Brighton to Newcastle, along with excursions to Berlin and Gran Canaria.

26 February Meet Stéphane Gizard, a French photographer renowned for his fine art photography work that focuses on themes related to “boys”. His unique and recognizable style has a classic and distinctly French quality. Gizard has published several bestselling books, including Modern Lovers, Irréversible, and New Faces. His latest zine, titled “BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!,” has been released to coincide with this event.

It is great to be able to shine a light on queer artists as part of LGBT+ History Month with Phaidon and their incredible catalogue of stunning art books. People like Mapplethorpe and Warhol were pioneers. Without Mapplethorpe, the photography world would still be rather vanilla!‘”

Ghislain Pascal, founder of BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!
