Argyris Georgopoulos, also known as Silverhook, is a London-based music producer, DJ, and co-promoter for bear club BEEFMINCE. QX caught up with Argyris and we talked about how BEEFMINCE is just going from strength to strength, ahead of their major next party at the Steel Yard on Saturday 4 October, 10:30pm – 5 am.
How was your summer?
It’s been very busy but oh so fun! We started the summer by closing the Pleasure Palace tent at MIGHTY HOOPLA, then our second Steel Yard party, our 10th birthday BEACHMINCE extravaganza – and that was just June! The rest of the summer saw us hosting the RVT Tunnel for London Pride and a super fun daytime terrace party outside Concorde2 for Brighton Pride, as well as appearing at Bristol Pride and Brighton Pride in The Park, As One In The Park and headlining the Brighton Bear Weekend. Not to mention our monthly residency at the RVT!
Busy boys… And now Sitges Bear Week. Tell us about that.
BEEFMINCE has been chasing the Sitges gig for a couple of years now, and this year it has finally happened. BEEFMINCE made its debut appearance at Sitges Bear Week 2025, bringing four nights of uplifting music, inclusive vibes, and a celebration of body positivity and community to this iconic Mediterranean town. This special edition of BEEFMINCE marked the brand’s first-ever international party in Spain and a major milestone in its 10-year history, from a local London favourite to a globally recognised queer nightlife brand, and the first time Sitges Bear Week has ever collaborated with an external clubbing brand.

Yes, we are back with the Hoopla lovelies for a special Saturday night slot in Malta. The lineup looks sensational.
You are back at The Steel Yard next month, too.
Back back back again on Saturday, 4 October ! We love The Steel Yard – it offers 2 rooms, a dark space and a super central location. It’s one of the few spaces in London that offers that big industrial feel through its arches. It’s a fantastic club with a great sound.
Tell us about who will be playing on the night.
Our headliner in the BEEF ROOM is international DJ sensation PAGANO, who has solidified his reputation for seamlessly fusing house and techno, adding his unique spin on iconic classics. SILVERHOOK, BEEFMINCE resident DJ and co-promoter, will follow him with his distinctive genre-bending style and electronic sounds. Ross Jones will open the arch, setting the tone with his groove – expect big beats, big basslines, and a big beard!
In the MINCE ROOM, PHIL MARRIOTT will dance the line between pop, dance and disco, then LIAM JOSEPH will deliver delicious pop remixes and uplifting sounds. But first, everyone will get on board the pop and dance wagon of JJUST ZACH.
What else do you have in store for BEEFMINCE?
Well, apart from Mighty Hoopla Malta in a few days, we have more Halloween surprises, another Brighton party at the newly refitted Concorde2 and, of course, huge announcements for NYE too. And let’s not forget, our monthly residency at our spiritual home, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
