02/05/13: It’s already been two years since Circa opened its doors and being loyal patrons we thought it would be rude had we not joined them for a drink - or six - well, it was their birthday after all.

Circa is the bar on the block that’s hot to trot, having lit up Frith Street since it opened with its unique combination of great music, charismatic DJs and fit boys. Everyone on the scene wants to be seen here at the weekend and the queue for the door can be stretching down the street. We spoke to head man Alan Winter, the only bar owner in Soho who bought a bar because his monthly drinks bill was pissing him off, and his harem of sexy DJs about why they think Circa has become the place to be for the doyens of Soho town… 

20/12/12: The Thursday before Christmas and Soho, naturally, was poppin’. So nice to see so many sodomites out celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ! And the hottest homosexuals in town were to be found at, where else, Circa, where the festive cheer was at ridiculously high levels.

Wednesday nights will never be the same again, as Circa plans to keep you captivated with four stellar spinners on rotation and a plethora of buff boys. Detained is Soho’s hottest new midweek sesh, and we sent master interrogator/petite criminal Lee Dalloway to get the DJs to confess to their own tales of wrongdoing…

03/05/12: We can’t believe it's been a year since Soho was abuzz with rumours of a shiny new homoxual bar. It doesn’t seem like five minutes ago since the Circa crew were putting the finishing touches to this small but perfectly formed venue for opening night.

The newest member of Soho’s delightfully dysfunctional and drunken family has firmly established itself as one of the most popular bars on our fair scene. Ahead of Circa’s first birthday celebrations next week, we sent Lee Dalloway to chat with owner Alan Winter and their stellar line-up of DJ talent. 

22/12/11: In a year that saw her grandson’s Royal Wedding, and just before the same lady celebrates her diamond jubilee, we rocked up to another old queens party at the beginning of the festive period, as Alan Winter threw a camp Circa Christmas.

29/10/11: We rarely see Circa landlady Alana Wintour as happy as she is at Halloween, when her powers are naturally at their strongest.
