B is for bisexual, and in many ways, the bisexual community feels ignored and underrepresented. The Office for National Statistics has some interesting figures to digest on sexual orientation from their 2021 Census.
So there you have it. There are nearly as many bisexuals as there are gays or lesbians.
Where can bisexuals go to play?
Although London offers a wide choice of gay and straight play parties, few are aimed exclusively at the bisexual community.
One of the bisexual play parties in London is the Bi Fun Club. The club hosted their first bisexual party at the Central Station Bar, Kings Cross, two years ago and is now firmly established.
When is the Bi Fun Club?
The Big Fun Club has weekly parties every Monday from 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm and evening events from 6 pm to 10 pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
To attend, you no longer need to reserve your place. You can just turn up and pay at the door. Both cash and card are accepted.
