Is life treating you well?

New wellbeing choices for gay men.
London has the largest population of gay men in Europe. Our urban scene is famous the world over, and access to ever more sophisticated digital media means that meeting likeminded guys has never been easier. Current equality legislation has finally granted us the right to marry, adopt and generally live the life we want to live.
But are we happy?

Many gay men continue to feel isolated and unable to cope. A complicated set of lifestyle challenges and aspirations can make us believe that we’ve failed in some way, and issues with sexual identity, health and the ageing process can leave us in need of support that’s hard to find.

Living Well, an independent, not-for-profit social enterprise was founded more than a decade ago to support men living with HIV. The Living Well team now offers its experience and expertise to all gay men to help them discover ways to find more meaning in their lives, as well as the chance to give something back to the community. A range of services, from one-to-one counselling to group initiatives, has been launched by Living Well to support gay men in improving the quality of their life and, in doing so, benefit the gay community as a whole.

We see clients with a variety of concerns and issues – relationship concerns, feelings of isolation, career worries or anxieties about alcohol or substance dependency – so have tailored workshops to provide useful, practical advice. These workshops are great way to explore and gain a better insight into life’s challenges. One-to-one counselling, meanwhile, offer really supportive pathways to positive change for individuals.

Whether it’s health, work or personal problems that are preventing you from getting the best out of life, speak to one of our team who will match you up with the best services and practitioners to work with your needs.

Sometimes we just need to take time to look and see things from a different perspective. These three Living Well services do just that, and will support you to value what you have and achieve what you want:
