My name is Kiki Babs. I’m a British neurodivergent drag artist, performer, and creative force blending surrealism, humour, and heart. My drag isn’t just about lashes and lipstick (though I love a dramatic lash); it’s a living, breathing expression of who I am, where I’ve come from, and the communities I fiercely represent.
From being told as a child that I’d never succeed because I’m autistic to working with CHANEL, appearing on major TV networks like the BBC, ITV and MTV, and sharing stages with artists from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Dragula, my journey has been anything but typical. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I studied theatre at Aberystwyth University, and that training laid the groundwork for what I now call my Artoudian approach to drag a fusion of performance art, queer identity, and unapologetic emotion. Whether I’m swinging on a wrecking ball in one of my surreal comedy numbers or reimagining Ariel from The Little Mermaid in a bold, camp, and chaotic twist on “Part of Your World,” every performance is a story, a protest, a celebration.
But for me, drag isn’t just a show; it’s a service to the community. I advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and work to dismantle the stigma around autism, proving that neurodivergence is a superpower, not a setback. I also collaborate with artists who haven’t had many opportunities, helping spotlight voices that deserve to be heard.
Most recently, I’ve been developing comedic remixes of classic characters and songs, infusing them with queer culture, punchy rhymes, and a distinctly drag attitude. My art is ever-evolving, but the heart remains the same: to entertain, connect, and empower.
I’m proud of what I’ve built and even prouder of the people I’ve built it with – my drag brothers and sisters, my community, and the next generation of queer artists who refuse to be boxed in.
This is more than performance. This is purpose.

Kiki Babs will be performing cabaret at Rainbow Paradiso, at the Cheese & Grain in Frome on 8 July, 2025, 7:30pm-11:30pm. This will be a night of comedy, cabaret and live music.
