The 10th of October 2025 is World Health Day. On this day, at St Giles in Barbican, some of London’s brightest queer artists will perform songs to unite the LGBTQ+ community in You Are Loved – Music for Change.

Andy Gardiner, a mental health ambassador and Mr. Gay Great Britain, will host the show.

The event combines the power of classical and musical theatre performances by stars of the London Gay Men’s Chorus, London Gay Symphony Orchestra, Homoparody, and many more, interspersed with live testimonials about mental health from members of the UK’s queer community.

Music for Change creators Big Gay Out and Song in the City will join the founder of You Are Loved on stage. You Are Loved exists to reduce deaths from suicide and drugs in the LGBTQ+ community.

Funds raised through Music for Change will enable You Are Loved to carry out their life-saving work across the queer community in the UK.

About Big Gay Out

Big Gay Out was started by the chiropractor, opera singer, and life coach, Owain Gwynfryn, in 2023. It is an events organisation creating inclusive spaces for gay, bisexual, trans, and queer men.

About Song in the City

Song in the City was founded in 2012 by pianist, organist, and conductor Gavin Roberts as a means to connect new communities and audiences with classical music.

About You Are Loved

You Are Loved was founded in 2024 by social psychologist Marc Svensson as a grassroots Community Interest Company dedicated to preventing suicide and drug-related deaths in the queer community. Through bereavement support groups, community discussion events, and a new national LGBTQ+ community and support directory that launched in June, the organisation tackles loneliness, stigma, and shame at their roots.

Early bird ticket prices start from £25

You Are Loved – Music for Change is on Friday 10 Oct 2025, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm, at St Giles Cripplegate, London EC2Y 8DA, United Kingdom.
