Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist is a powerful new play inspired by actual events from writer Emmanuel Akwafo’s life. The show runs at Brixton House until 29 November 2025.

Set against the vibrant and complex backdrop of London, the story follows four friends—Joseph, Monday, Nathaniel, and Omari—as they navigate issues of love, sexuality, faith, and masculinity in a society that often silences and misrepresents them.

With humour, heart, and raw honesty, Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist empowers young Black Queer individuals to embrace the fullness of their identities, including their culture, race, religion, bodies, and souls.

Drawing on deeply personal experiences, this play serves as both a love letter and a call to action—an honest, unapologetic celebration of Black Queer resilience.

Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist challenges audiences to reflect on their own perceptions of identity.
