Gay Social has organised a right old queer pub crawl through the streets of London’s Clapham gayborhood, just south of the river. They’ll be taking you to three venues along the way, starting at 7pm.
First stop is The Bridge bar at 8, Voltaire Street, SW4 6DH. It’s a snug little arch bar. They have their happy hour from 5pm-7pm, so if you get their a little early, you can snatch a cheap drink before you start.
Then on to The Clapham Tap at about 8.30pm, which is just off Clapham High Street at 128 Clapham Manor St, SW4 6ED. Its a quirky venue with a large range of craft bears. They also have a large covered garden, which is heated for your comfort. There are plenty of outdoor activities to distract you here.
Final stop takes you back to the high street, at the club bar at The Two Brewers SW4 7UJ at about 10pm. No trip to Clapham would be complete with out a trip to The Two Brewers. It’s Clapham’s most popular queer night spot. Entry to the Brewers is included with your Gay Social ticket price (you’ll need a wristband). Check out our Friday Listing to see what cabaret show is on at The Two Brewers. Friday night show usually starts around 11pm.
A Gay Social pub crawl is a great way to make new friends on a Friday night and visit somewhere new. And you never know who you might pick up along the way.
As Michelle Obama said, “Just try new things. Don’t be afraid. Step out of your comfort zones and soar, all right?”
Tickets to your Gay Social £5 and can be found HERE
