Highlights of the Shorditch Town Hall Spring Season include a lively, glittering satire on multi-level marketing culture performed in the iconic Council Chamber. Additionally, there will be events commemorating International Women’s Day and the return of the beloved Tea Dances. This season invites audiences to come together, engage in meaningful discussions, and celebrate community in all its forms.

The main highlight of the program is DYKE Systems Ltd, a dynamic new production by the award-winning cabaret and theatre duo Fag Packet, featuring Kheski Kobler and Holly Wilson-Guy. After an iconic debut at Shoreditch Town Hall’s inaugural Summer in The Ditch in 2024, the company returns fresh from a critically acclaimed, sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, where the show was recognised as one of The Stage’s Fringe Five. The production is now expanding into one of the venue’s larger spaces, taking audiences on a whirlwind journey through marketing chaos.

Equal parts corporate seminar and queer fever dream, DYKE Systems Ltd offers a blend of wealth, empowerment, and a touch of chaos. Hosted by Sally and Susan—who are anything but your average suburban women—this event welcomes audiences to what is considered the most prestigious gathering of the year. The show presents a sharp, subversive critique of pyramid schemes, ruthless heteronormativity, and corporate feminism, prompting the question of who truly benefits from the language of empowerment.

The run will feature a series of post-show events included with every ticket. An Opening Night Party will take place on Tuesday, 21 April, with pop-up cabaret acts and DJs. This will be followed by a Cabaret Night on Thursday, 23 April, which will extend into an extra special, chaotic, and entrepreneurial late-night celebration featuring the boldest up-and-coming performers from London’s cabaret scene. To receive a free drink, book your tickets by 12 PM on Thursday, 12 February.

In addition to the main production, Shoreditch Town Hall will host a series of events for International Women’s Day. These events aim to highlight voices, stories, and discussions that advocate for gender equality across art and society. Among the offerings are popular history tours and an insightful talk about the Women of Shoreditch Town Hall, led by local historian Susan Doe.

Shoreditch Town Hall’s popular Town Hall Tea Dances will continue throughout the year, giving audiences the chance to dance the afternoon away in the stunning Assembly Hall. A Beginners’ Dance Class, led by former world champion ballroom and Latin dancer Raymond Root, will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM before every dance session.

Additionally, Made In Shoreditch: Artist Workspace will offer over 1,000 free workspace slots to artists throughout the year. They will also host the Improbable Devoted & Disgruntled event for the second consecutive year—an unconventional convention for anyone passionate about creating change in Theatre and the Performing Arts.

“This year, we celebrate 160 years of Shoreditch Town Hall, our magnificent building that has served the people of Hackney and the arts community across all its iterations. As we ramp up our programming to celebrate this milestone, we are excited to welcome Fag Packet back to the venue in this headline slot. From sharing the first scratch of the show as part of Summer in the Ditch 2024 to development with artist residency support, it’s fantastic to host them in one of our main spaces. They bring with them their network of cabaret performers to take over the venue with pop-up performances in the bar and a curated cabaret night. It’s going to be super smart and lots of fun.”

Ellie Browning, Head of Cultural Programme.
