10/12/16: A diverse congregation of miscreant homosexualists (and friends) decided to shun Saint Kylie’s grand mass at the stately Albert Hall last Saturday for the trendier territory of Dalston Superstore.

The occasion was the swan song and last transport (for 2016) of “transcendental gay rave” Discosòdoma. Perhaps drawn by the promise of a special guest set by Japanese DJ and producer Powder in the Laser Pit (which boasts a thumping new sound system), even a handful of die-hard Santacon participants had decided to drag their weary feet and bulging sacks to north east London.

As the name implies, Discosòdoma serves up disco, but it’s disco not quite as you know it; it’s disco without the glitter and with dark sexy undertones that gently lifts you to a different musical plain. We are certainly looking forward to more esoteric shape-throwing next year as the club goes into its third year.
