‘Gullüm’ is a very specific word from the queer slang language of Turkey: Lubunca. It means the laughs and the fun that you have with your chosen family at the darkest of times, when there seems to be no hope. It comes from the strength of solidarity and the resistance towards the struggles that we regularly face and how we ‘Make a Ball’ out of it. We are living through one of the bleakest periods of our times and it’s time we find our resistance inside and make a Gullüm out of it,  to bid our farewell and our gratitude in the best way we know: by throwing one final amazing show!
