Queer Cowboys
Aug 2 @ 9:00 pm
£10This semi-autobiographical play follows Freddie, a new resident of Oklahoma, exploring their transgender identity as they combat loneliness. Through Freddie’s journey, you’ll delve into the forgotten stories of two transgender cowboys from the Old West: Harry Allen and Little Joe Monahan.
Featuring live performances of country music, Queer Cowboys is making its debut at the King’s Head following a successful world premiere at Wilton’s Music Hall in 2022.
Written and performed by West End star Freddie Love, known for their roles in Just For One Day and But I’m a Cheerleader, this production employs a captivating mix of gig-theatre, verbatim theatre, and cabaret to honour these cowboys. Don’t miss this “operatic and smouldering” show, as described by The Stage, featuring the “fantastic” Freddie Love, lauded by Broadway World.
Queer Cowboys promises an unforgettable evening of storytelling in a transformed space adorned with campfire charm.
