(Open) The Glory

What happens when a bunch of alt-drag East London queer legends buy a pub? The Glory happens, that’s bloody what. Probably the most eccentric, vibrant and just plain GAY thing to happen to Haggerston since…well, since ever. This multi-hyphenate of a venue is home to some of the most insanely creative nights and characters the city has to offer. They’ve turfed the entire pub for their own version of  Glastonbury. The entire exterior was covered in gold foil for Easter. They’ve even got a bloody light-up tree in the center of the ground floor. Indian weddings, gay bar mitzvahs or lesbian garage nights. You name it, they’ve probably done it or are planning it. We can never predict what The Glory will do next, but we can always expect an amazingly fun time in this queer-cabaret-super-pub-cum-club-cum-creative-hub-cum…cum. God Save The Glory!
