WE Party: Sandia

The supersoaked summer party touching down at Ministry of Sound

Ministry of Sound is one of those world famous venues that almost everyone has heard of, no matter what corner of the world you find yourself in. They ask you if you’ve been, and you have to embarrassingly admit that you haven’t because it’s a straight club, filled with pretty young girls who elbow themselves past you to get to the bar, then flash some cleavage to be served. Standing there being ignored for hours isn’t fun, you just want to grab your vodka and get dancing. You’ve sworn off straight clubs and we get it, the men aren’t lookers and they’re never interested.

But what if we told you that THIS WEEKEND Ministry will be filled to the brim with huge men in tiny Speedos, shaking their asses to some thick beats. Gone are the awful women trying to flirt with you for a cigarettes, and in are the handsome guys giving you the eye across the bar. Out with passive aggressive shoving, and in with the grinding onto a Latin hunk. Bringing the beats of Madrid to one of London’s most iconic venues, WE are here with a slice of that watermelon goodness that is their mid-summer day-long party. They’ve decked out its sprawling terrace ready for Rafha Madrid to take to the decks and play those beats you can’t help but start grinding to. This sun isn’t going anywhere so you may as well enjoy it in style.

Sandia is the party that you deserve having spent your week on a musty tube, sweating through your blazer, wishing you were literally anywhere else. No need to spend your weekends trying to find somewhere to go to escape the city, they have a week’s partying in Mykonos all packed into one afternoon. If you can’t handle the sun, cool down inside by blowing off some steam to the music of Gonzzalo, reminding you why you love being in a city packed with hot guys and not on some silly beach in the middle of nowhere.

WE Party: Sandia is the only place to be this weekend. WE Pride was a hard party to out-do but over at Orange Nation they know that only the best’ll cut it. They’ll get you in the mood to keep going all night long, but lucky for you they’re also inviting you along to the free Orange after-party over at Fire. The afternoon doesn’t have to end. Ever.

Sunday 29th of July. Ministry of Sound, 103 Gaunt Street, SE1 6DF.
