adDICKed

18/05/12: Last Friday The Joiners Arms promised to take us to the Red Light District, with the help of the one and only Spanish Mafia, of course.

And boy, did they deliver. With the lights low and red, Shoreditch’s favourite joint was transformed into a sultry Amsterdam scene. Mafia Queen La Penquena hosted a hoard of hedonism that performed behind a sexy silhouette screen.

Dirty, trashy, filth. Franky, Rafa Davila, Paquita and plenty more delivered the electro pop and old school house with a dash of retro remixes to London’s East End. The atmosphere among the leather clad and denim-studded crowd was hotter than hell and almost as sexy as the scandalous stage show.

As the tracks got dirtier, so did the clientele. After flocking down for a fantastic first night, we’re sure the alternative crowd will be adDICKted – and returning, for a promiscuous installment. But bring your fans, ‘cause this one’s hot.
