Ku Bar

16/08/14: The bar boys may be getting younger (OK, maybe that’s just us getting older) but the Ku core is the same as it ever was. Top totty, dance-around-yer-handbag tunes, affordable drinks and a ridiculously friendly mixed bag crowd of all shapes and colours.

While it may have, and has always had, a twinkalicious lean, it’s also an attitude-free, all encompassing, multi-leveled block of pure joy.

Anywhere that has a young, choppy haired fag and his tiddly hag twerking with a distinctly older, but sprightly, gentleman to Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’ may just be the tongue-in-cheek Utopia we all need in our lives.

Those of a slightly ‘cooler’ disposition, fear not, y’all can dance til the early hours to some dance/house/pop tuneage in Ku Klub downstairs. Judging from this (and every) Saturday night, here be where the hottest boys hang out!
