11/01/14: Two Brewers had Clapham High Street in high gear with late night cabaret hosted by the one and only Mrs. Moore.
Fresh from her wicked stint in The Bitches of Oz, the tireless foxy Mama Moore returned to the stage to give the punters what-for with her husky tones and sharp tongue as she crooned the crowd with her trademark tunes and a whole lotta laughs that had the packed house wavin’ arms and singin’ along til after midnight.
Resident DJ Demon then commanded the front bar as DJ Paul Short pounded the rear club with uplifting funk that never competed with the friendly chatter of mates making for a laid-back night with just the right dose of high-energy boost.
Well-lubed from the generous offering of half-priced drinks from 5-10pm, the fresh young crowd from the block and beyond, were the most joyous group we’ve seen all year–this being the second week of 2014, that is!
