05/03/11: It’s no secret, we do love the boys out west, from the staff behind the bar at West Five to the punters in the bar, and even the charity lovlies at OutWest who always make us very welcome – maybe it’s something in the water! Anyhoo, last Saturday we popped out again to catch that potty mouth herself, Sandra, as she riled up the audience with her fabulously inappropriate patter and power ballads like ‘Free From Desire’ and Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ – always a consummate professional, she is occasionally derailed by one too many shots and ends up dancing on a table, wig in hand! We did miss our fave bar boy, the much-pierced Bruno this week, but then spotted him celebrating his birthday front of house with his boyfriend and mates, so a quick snog with him and our night was complete. West Five ALWAYS delivers.
